Have you seen the strange purple caterpillar with red spots? No? Pay attention and try to be the first to catch it in your net! Focus, because some critters look very similar! Will you be able to catch several?
Chasseurs en herbe (Budding Hunters) is designed to help children aged 3 to 8 focus their attention on an element to look for. The game encourages them to concentrate more on certain characteristics and less on others. It also allows them to learn to pay attention for longer. It adapts to younger and older children by adjusting the number of cards used.

Why this game?
The limited attention spans of children aged 3 to 8 mean they can only perceive and focus on a few specific pieces of information or a few objects at a time. The game Chasseurs en herbe (Budding Hunters) was specifically designed to support children in developing their visual attention strategies. It particularly encourages selective attention.
Indeed, the child must demonstrate selective attention to focus on information they deem more important than another. For example, if they need to find red critters, they must focus on cards showing critters of that color and not on others.
Furthermore, the game Chasseurs en herbe (Budding Hunters) was designed to ensure a gradual increase in difficulty: fifteen grass cards can be placed on the table when the child has more difficulty focusing their attention on the critters. Thirty can be placed when the child finds it easier.

Delivery and returns
Terms
An exchange or refund may be granted if the following conditions are met, within 30 days of the purchase date:
- By sending the product by post (at the buyer's expense) with a copy of the invoice or the order number.
- Returned products must be undamaged and unused, in their original condition and packaging. In other words: in a condition suitable for resale!
- Clearance items with a discount of more than 30% will be considered final sale.
Exceptions
For safety and/or hygiene reasons, the following products cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Teething toys
- Hygiene products
- Items for sale and special orders
- Items that have been assembled or modified
- Safety equipment
- Bedding
- Swimsuits
- Themed/Seasonal Articles
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can find a solution or compensate you.
Procedure for returning merchandise
You have two options for returning merchandise:
A) Return at customer's expense
The customer has the option of choosing their own courier service, at their own expense. Simply indicate the order number directly on the package, and send it to the following postal address: 9250 Avenue du Parc, Unit 222, Montreal QC H2N 1Z2.
B) Return with prepaid label
Here are the steps to follow:
- Contact us at info@leoludo.ca specifying the order number and the items you wish to return.
- We will email you a prepaid return label. Place the items in the shipping box or bag, print the return label, and affix it to the package.
- Inform us by email of the day and 3-hour time slot of your choice, and we will send a delivery person to pick up the package from your home.
A fee of $12 (+ taxes) will be deducted from the refund amount to cover return shipping costs.
Return packaging – Important
To avoid breakage during transport, all items must be returned in a cardboard shipping box.
❌ No returns will be accepted if the return label is affixed directly to the product packaging.
❌ Items packaged only in brown paper, plastic film or non-protective bag will not be accepted.
✅ Any cardboard box will do — reused delivery boxes (e.g., Amazon) are perfectly acceptable.
Any item received damaged due to inadequate packaging may be refused or returned to the customer without a refund.
Refund
Please allow 10 working days for the receipt and inspection of returned items, after which the amount will be refunded to the same payment method used for the purchase.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on all exchanged or returned merchandise, except for damaged items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
